This is a how to video on backing up the Notification Server cryptographic keys. The cryptographic keys are used to encrypt authentication credentials that are stored in the Notification Server database. These keys are used to secure data inside the database. The backup of the Notification Server cryptographic keys enable you to restore the database to a new server hardware, thereby helping in disaster recovery.

I think this is how cryptographic key is restored...
To restore the certificates
1 Use the KMS restore utility to restore the Notification Server cryptographic keys. To perform this procedure, on the Notification Server run KMSRestore.exe and specify the path to the ZIP file containing the backup of the cryptographic keys and the password, which you used during the backup.

When do we have to restore the keys?
_How_ are the keys restored?
There is no documentation about this keys beside "Backup".
Drives me crazy ... what is this good for without a restore procedure. In case of disaster recovery we do what?
