    To address "Firewall Fatigue" when Symantec ITMS patch downloads are blocked in restricted or air-gapped networks, we have published a new blog that describes the definitive solution: a proxy server. This method centralizes all patch binaries and metadata downloads, eliminating the need for a costly second ITMS and SQL Server stack in a DMZ, or the headache of constantly requesting firewall exceptions for changing vendor URLs. This provides a stable, auditable pattern for security teams while reducing friction for ITMS administrators.
