We have been adding our live licenses to the beta version of ITMS 7.1. As we have increased the number of nodes over time we have mulitple license files. For example for "Deployment Solution for Clients and Servers" we have license files for 1800, 170 and 50 nodes. But rather than adding the new license the system replaces the current license.
To eventually go live with the product (post beta) is this going to be a fix for the system or do we need Symantec to combine the licenses into one file?
The multiple files were provided from Symantec in the last license support renewal that we had. We are currently using DS 6.9 SP4 and plan to move to 7.1 \when released.
I am pretty sure the license portal allows for a request to combine licenses or will do it for you automatically or something like that. Since I work here I don't use it much, but I was pretty sure that was a feature. I'd recommend getting them combined if you can though.
