I am using GSS 2.5. I have set up PXE utilizing WinPE. Everything is working pretty good. I have several .wim files, I get the menu for selection of the different images, connects to the server and is ready to Ghost. The problem I have is WinPE seems to ignore my command line switches. I place the switches in the parameters portion of the WinPE setup, but WinPE seems to ignore whatever switches I place there. I am familiar switches as I have been working with Ghost since 7.5. I even placed I bogus switch (-skdksada) just to see if it would error out but WinPE just goes through the motions and the next that appears is the "About Symantec Ghost" screen. From there I can continue with my normal Ghosting operations, but I'd like to have clients join the session automatically, close upon completion, etc. Does anyone know why WinPE ignores these switches? Am I not placing them in the right area? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Live update? If not then run Live Update and install LU2 - Ghost boot wizard build 2141. It had a bug in not passing command line parameters to Winpe and Linux configs and was resolved either in LU1 or LU2.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the info! That's probably it, since I haven't ran LiveUpdate since I initially set up the server. Next problem my liveupdate connection keeps timing out. I was able to download the update once but it said the liveupdate server is busy and to try again later. I tried again and now all i get is connection to the liveupdate server failed. Is there a way or location to download LU2? Thanks.
