Upgrade procedure

Hello

I have a question about update procedure in version 3.x.x.
Do I understand correctly i can upgrade CAS safely: from version 2.4.1.3 to 3.0.2.0 and next from 3.0.2.0 to 3.1.0.1 ?
What happens with my existing configuration (network, users, mail, syslog), did the stay , What about my IVM system profiles (Windows 10 1803 and Windows 7) they stay to?

Hi Jakub,

I would recommend checking the release notes (found in the downloads portal with the CAS OS images) for upgrade paths and compatibility. Also, as with any upgrade, I would recommend backing up your configuration and iVM profile.

As far as upgrade path, on the onset, that looks like it should work. Again, refer to the release notes for any addition scenarios that might cause the path to be different.

Existing configuration should also be retained on upgrade. The main thing to look out for when upgrading to 3.x is that downgrading to 2.x is not supported. A factory default will be required if you go from 3.x to 2.x.
