I have been unable to find a solution to removing DLP Endpoint Agent 15.0 MP1. We are in a situation whereby the uninstall password is unknown, and the entire infrastructure used with Symantec is no longer available. This is a result of an acquisition. Symantec support will not assist because I have no idea about support contract or serial number. They claim if I repurchase the software, they would be able to assist with the uninstallation -- which is completely unacceptable.
I have the original .MSI and install batch files, but it's my understanding that the hashed uninstall password that was used to perform the installation cannot be used to uninstall -- plaintext password is apparently needed.
Can anyone assist?
