    Hi All,

When I try to run a scan on a specific folder by right clicking it I receive an error about not having enough free disk space to perform it.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Im running win7 64 bit EE

    Regards,

    Roy_M

    Sure thing Manish, it's attached.

Now, it's in spanish and has no error code.

In english it says something like: "Scan Failed: Insufficient free disk space to perform a scan"

    Regards,

please check as well the permissions to the %temp% folder - is the variable set for the temp folder to drive c: as well? the problem may occur if the temp is located on another partition with limited space

what is the size of the pagefile for c:?

    Hello,

Here are few steps for your assistance:

    1. Make sure the Temp folder is cleared.
    2. Make sure that TEMP variable is configured correctly. The accounts SYSTEM, Administrator and Users should have the Full control on TEMP folder.
    3. If the above 2 steps does not help, Try uninstalling SEP SBE 12.1 Client and Reinstalling it again.

    Mithun:

    Temp is empty

Environment variables checked and correct, temp and tmp goes to c:/temp

Full control tu System, Everyone, Administrators, Users

    Already Uninstalled and reinstalled.

Any other thing I could try?

First of all, thanks to everyone following this.

Now, just an update, think this could be helpful to find the root cause:

The users profile is directed to drive D, and the OS lives in C, this is for corporate reasons.

Many applications fail to install or to open if the environment variables, such as TEMP and TMP are  directed to its default location %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp while it resides on a drive different than the OS one.

And if I rollback to the default path SEP 12.1 won't uninstall or install.

So that's why we changed it to c:\temp

    any thoughts?

    Regards,

    Roy_M

i guess the drive in temp you have configured is causing the problem.can you change it back to the OS drive
