So, I'm looking for some divine inspiration.
My last job required that I encrypt all of my drives with a solution provided by Symantec, I'm really not sure which product, but I used to have to provide a password after BIOS long before windows even loaded every time.
Now, having deferred it for as long as I could, MS has finally pushed a forced update to anniversary edition on my PC. The BIOS password entry disappeared, as did the dual boot status (I had Remix OS installed as well). Having performed the update as demanded, my other drive partitions had become RAW. So I've recovered the data using EaseUS, but of course, it's all encryted. I have a fresh copy of windows 10 anniversary edition, no Symantec software and, so it seems none of my old backed up files. I am what you could call royally buggered. Is there any way to recover my data?? Or am I screwed?
If there is a way, you'll need to explain it really slowly as I'm no expert in these matters.
Regards,
Ben
