    Hi,

In my previous organization we used Symantec endpont encryption for device security. I copied some of my personal data like payslips etc. to my personal pendrive. Now i'm unable to decrypt the files even though i remember the password. can this be solved. Atleast by my previous employer's IT team by using any default password.

Probably need the key on their side to enable this. If they can do it I'd ask them too. Data should be decrypted and then copied.

    Thumb's up to CraigEV.

If these files were protected by SEE Removable Media Encyption, but your password is not working with the SEE Access Utility, then your only option is to ask the SEE Admins at your former compnay for assistance.  Even then, this is only possible if they were using the Recovery Certificate option in SEE-RME.  If this was not already set and enabled when you copied off your files, your files may be unrecoverable.
