SOI via https

Hi,

is it possible with RU4 to run SOI Task only via https?
Or is there still the Need of using UNC?

That could be problematic, either Windows setup should be able to operate over HTTP/S to get files from PS/NS or the task will need some space on the local drives to copy WIndows setup files there.

is it a Problem to copy it to local drive?
For security reasons it will be nice to only work with https.

No, but in the simplest scenario only, there could be many scenarios depending on the local drive state and configuration, the drive should be formatted in some cases and preserved in others for example

Hi,

i create a custom Deployment script for a customer.
In this script we download the install.wim and extract it to local drive via dism.
it is the same process like sccm do for many years.
And in most cases there are no issue with this procedure.
