  • 1.  IP bed reputation removal.

    Hi,
    We, have recently acquired the /24 subnet of IP address (216.170.117.0 - 216.170.117.255). It appeared that all of IP addresses from this range were blacklisted because of: "The host has been observed sending spam in a format that is similar to snow shoe spamming techniques."
    How can I clean up the reputation of this subnet of IPs?

    You would have to go to the Symantec ip lookup and removal tool and request that the ips be removed.

    I made requests for every from this IPs on this page "https://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com". I answered Google captcha more the 500 times and it was terrible monotonic day. The most frusrating thing appeared next day, when all from this IPs becam blacklisted again. One more attempt to go through all this looks for me like Sisyphean labor. The post on this forum is like last resort. Please help me with some less labor intensive solution that works. I saw post like this with subnets /21, I hardly can imagine some sane person who could make this operation for this number of IPs.

    Try calling symantec.

    It's all in vain :(
    I called to call-center, they gave me mail address to write with my issue ( cloudfeedback@feedback-87.brightmail.com )... No one answers, I found few issues on this forum with this mail. It some type of black hole for correspondence.

    Thanks a lot, I started to give up, even theirs indian 24/7 support call center do not anvers the calls without ID of Symantec client now :(

    I still trying to clean up reputation of at least one of IPs time after time using "https://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/ipr/lookup" page with differen descriptions and requests to ansver me. But nothing works... silence.
