  • 1.  Our IPs are blacklisted by Symantec

    Posted Aug 21, 2019 08:44 AM

    Hello,

Our company is a social network related to agricultural business around the world.

Our network has 30K+ daily visits on our portal and 20K+ active users, mostly are professionals, academic and businessmen, and we only send emails to our most active and legitimate users for 17 years based in their activities in our social network.

Our domain and sender IPs has 95+ sender score, hosted on dedicated server/IPs and following all directives according RFC, SPF, DMARC.

Since ending May of the current year, our email servers are unable to send any emails to Microsoft destinations (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, etc).

Our IPs are not listed on PBL, RBL or any public list. Also we have several very strict real time algorithms for monitoring our traffic, because emails are the living of our company.

We have requested on Symantec IP Removal (https://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/) and submited with proof of our sent headers but every day our IPs are blacklisted again, and again.

    IPs blacklisted by Symantec:

    192.99.135.165
    192.99.76.144

    Thank you in advance

    Regards

    Hi Esteban,

I'm sorry to hear of the troubles you're having with email delivery. The site in question https://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/  is actually not tied into the email security. cloud product, but used by other mail products within Symantec. Are you an  email security.cloud client ?

Can you provide some of the error codes / bouncebacks you're getting from Microsoft ?

    Regards,

    Hello yammana,

    Sorry, I'm not a security.cloud client.

We have reached to this forum because we see that other people have the same issue than us, that we cannot send emails to Hotmail and Outlook and we seen that Microsoft uses a technology by Symantec for filtering their incoming emails. We have contacted to Symantec and they suggest us that we send an email to investigation@review.symantec.com with details from our email, but we have no received any reply since weeks.

In respect to error codes, our emails are received by Microsoft servers OK with no errors codes, but all our emails go direct to Spam folder of Microsoft destinations.

    Thank you

    Regards
