Error 1722 while reinstalling task management

After upgraded to Altiris Agent 8.5.4249. the operation of reinstall Altiris Agent from Symantec Management Console become very hard.

there are Error 1722 while reinstalling task management, and

Failed to copy the Symantec Management Agent install service
Failed to push the Symantec Management Agent install service
Failed to run the Symantec Management Agent install service on {0}

May I seek for your help please. Thank you!

If you search for 1722 on the support site you will find:

"Error 1722 while reinstalling task management"

Cause
The installer is failing because there is a check to see if these services exist. If they do not exist, then the installer will error out.

Solution
Manually recreate the services....

What you mean under "Reinstall"? You are trying to install same Symantec Management Agent version over already installed SMA with same version?

Yeah. Same went for me too.  I am now stuck with no genuine solution  UPSers
