Url Forwarding to 1 ISP

Hi,

 

We have 2 ISP Tata & SIfy.

 

It is possible to send one url traffic  to specific ISP. As we are facing issue with website getting logged otu through proxy

Hi Aboo,

 

                 We could use a previously discussed option here. Steps below

 

1) Get an extra private IP address from the same subnet as proxy

2) Add it as a VIP on the proxy

3) Create a Forwarding layer

4) Add a rule with destination field set as the domain you are concerned about

5) In the action field, use the "Reflect IP" option and give the VIP there.

Usage:This is to make sure that all the requests to that domain is sent by keeping the source IP as this new VIP

6) Add rules in your perimeter device to use one specific ISP link when the request is seen with the new VIP

Dear Aravind,

  For this case i have some question about Reflect IP. i saw from Policy Layer have object Reflect IP both layer between Web access layer and Forwarding layer.

i would like to know when i can config Reflect IP on Web access layer and when i can config on Forwarding layer.

Hi Chakuttha,

 

                When using this in Forward layer, both HTTP and SSL connections are affected. Web Access will only help if the access is for HTTP. You can find details in below articles
