Images vanish from package server after upgrades

This has been an issue since 8.5 for us and happens every time:

1. We do the upgrade
2. I build new image and capture it, deploy to out
3. Imaging will be working great
4. Within 24 hrs all of the package servers will start lose the image file

Attached is image that show this, the agent on the package server shows it download the file, but if you go to the folder that file should be in its empty, this will start to move through the system until all of the files are like this and I need to capture a new image file to deploy out

I captured a whole new image, same thing, its showing as download on the package servers and the folders are empty

I can't even delete the folders or add the correct files to them

It took 3 different captures to and at last all of the sites got the image file, but now the issue is our of 6 tries maybe only 1 image will kick, it seems like there is drop off between the image and the task server since sometime they will get a few of our jobs that run before ghost and other times nothing. I would open a ticket but our license changed and seems to have knocked me off the contract so waiting for that to get fixed.

so if I understand correctly, initially image is on NS, then it gets downloaded by PSes and deployment from PSes works fine. Then after 24h it gets deleted from PSes?
Can you provide logs from Ps that deleted specified image?

So I have gone down this one a few times and the crazy part is nothing shows in logs that this going on, the only thing I can find is what I posted above, I once even watched as the files vanished from a folder on the ps. The folder itself will stay there and the agent will show everything is still there and you can't get it redownload the files you need.
