  • 1.  Task ran successful, but the results show that it failed.

    Hi, Expert I ran a Script on client by Agent, I saw some change has taken effect on client, but the result of running show that it failed, I don't know why was that. Do you have any idea? Raw log indicate as below: The task was stopped because it took longer than the allowed time. Please verify that a maintenance window is not preventing task execution. To change the task timeout setting go to the task's advanced properties. Benjamin

    Find the task

    Below the Script Details section click "Advanced..."

    "Task options" tab, what is "Stop task after: # minutes"?

    ---

    On the "Script" tab do you also have under "Other" "Save script output with task status" ticked?

    Probably that you've used 'Quick Run' option as schedule for this Script task so if Agent was in enabled 'Maintenance Window' then task won't run via 'Quick Run'.

    Try to use "Schedule" option for client task and there you will see checkbox "Override Maintenance Windows" then if agent once again will be in maintenance window range, task will be executed there anyway.
