  • 1.  PXE boot process not working

    Posted Jun 15, 2020 10:15 PM
We are having a problem with our PXE boot.  It gets an IP address from the server and seems to go through the boot process but freezes before the "Loading Drivers" window appears or loads.

It is a Dell 5401 laptop.

    Thank you.

I've heard of a similar issue with SCCM. Is 'secure' boot enabled? If it is, disable it and attempt again.

Which version are you on? 8.5 ru3 does not care if your image was created from bios device and is now trying to apply to a uefi one. Have you imaged these devices in the past? Can you access the logs on the device after it fails to check them?

Do you know what driver you have loading?
You may need to update the Network driver in the WinPE.
