  • 1.  Software management catolog - Can you clarify

    Please see screenshot of my software catlog

    In the managed software products I have software I have imported and stuff I haven't.

    e.g. Microsoft Visio. - I have never selected to manage this software. There are also a load of other software products I have never selected to manage.

    In the unmanaged software section. - where did these come from. I have never assigned any software as unmanaged.

    I assume this is done automatcailly for - I  couldn't see this in the documentation.

    These are defaults supplied by Symantec. If you look at the Visio one you'll see the warning not to edit the definitions.

    If you select "Include pre-defined Software Products" you can see the full list, the ones you can see at the moment are only ones that have been found by Inventory in your environment.
