  • 1.  NSEs have stopped processing efficently

    My system has been running fine for a few years. I have tuned the NSEs previously (https://support.symantec.com/us/en/article.tech251902.html) but went through the steps again.

    Ive increased check-in time to 8 hours from 6, and re randomized clients to use the new window.  But ever since this past week I have anywhere from 3K to 38K nses in the event queue.  They do they process but new ones are coming in faster than it can keep up.  

     

    Did a Microsoft patch impact nse processing.  We are on 8.5 HF2.  i know my setup is correct, so I'm looking for external factors causing issues

    Are there lots of errors in the NS log? Errors take about 6 times as long to process as sucesses.
