Hello William,
As stated, this is the Endpoint
Protection forum, rather than the Endpoint
Encryption forum.
However, if you're planning on retiring your SEMS server, you could just disable your LDAP enrollment if that is the method you're using for client enrollment. This would be done in
Consumers > Directory Synchronization in your SEMS console to disable it (which prevents the SEMS to look up the records from AD to complete enrollment).
Your clients will still be prompted for enrollment but it will fail.
If you want a more graceful method, you should ask this question in the Endpoint Encryption forum.

Subject: Symantec Encryption Server Question
Greetings!
We are in the process of retiring our Endpoint Protection Server (version 3.4.2 MP4 , Build 10384). Along with several other tasks, the main thing we would like to start doing is disable the ability to join the server (prevent new clients). We are getting ready to work with our departments to help stop the desktop install, which is likely part of a legacy desktop build.
Does anyone know of a switch that can be made within the Symantec Encryption Server Manager that will prevent new clients from joining the server? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance !
