  • 1.  Compressed Symantec Binaries??

    Anyone who can explain why Symantec Binaries are compressed?

    ex: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\"

    Files here, like: AutoExcl.Exe are compressed...

    It's always been that way with Symantec signed files. Is there a concern with it?

    Not a big concern :)

     

    We recently changed to Symantec Endpoint Protection, so we havent really seen that before, and figured it might be a cause to some of our performance issues
