Had same issue in the past. In my case, it happened because on different client PCs SEP was installed with different languages.
On those PCs, where SEP-update language matched installed SEP language - everything was fine. On other PCs - I got same message about client deciding to reject upgrade package.
Resolved by pushing updates for multiple languages (not all; only those, which, I knew, could be used by my users) simultaneously.

Subject: Client has ignored an upgrade package, version 14.3.558.0000
Just upgrade our SEPM to version 14.3.558.0000 and approved client install on all our servers.
After 4h i do not have any client deployed... all clients have "The client decided to reject the upgrade package" status and "Client has ignored an upgrade package, version 14.3.558.0000." messages...
Clients are:
* Server 2012 R2
* Server 2012
* Server 2016
* Server 2019
* Server 2008 R2
...
Where can i find the deploy log and/or the really reason clients are rejecting the package?
Client actual running version: 14.2.5569.2100
Client target version: 14.3.558.0000
