  • 1.  SEE bricks W8 laptablet

    I installed SEE version 8.2  (SEE8.2.0MP1HF1) on an ASUS taichi laptablet.  After one reboot it said it was encrypting.  I pushed SEP 12.1.2015.2015 then when I tried to reboot, it wouldn't reboot. Went into repairing windows mode. 

     

    Couldn't restore from the restore partition.  Bricked. 

     

    Is this a secure boot problem?  It runs secure boot like all W8 laptops.  I haven't been able to install SEE on a factory W8 install.  Works OK if I downgrade to W7 or upgrade a W7 machine to W8 but not on a preinstalled W8 with secure boot.  Is there any trick to this?

    I don't believe Win8 is supported on SEE-FD, or at least I can't find it listed:
