When using trying to use PC Transplant on DS 6.9 we are getting "The data area passed to a system call is too small. You may have to install this printer manually".  We are just trying to capture the printer data from one machine and transplant it to another.  Does anyone have a fix or work around for this error?  There are multiple local printers setup with different settings and ip addresses on one machine that we need on other machines.  Thanks.

Does this happen during the capture of the personality or during the distribution of the personality?  This is a Microsoft error message and has to do with corrupt drivers and programs.  Are you going from identical OS to identical OS (e.g. Windows XP Pro 32-bit to Windows XP Pro 32-bit) or are there differences (e.g. Windows XP Pro 32-bit to Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit)?  Is this going to a new computer or an existing computer?  Sometimes the cause is a corrupt patch, usually for third-party applications like Adobe, Google, etc.

This happens during the distribution of the personality.  It is XP Pro 32-bit on both systems, however one is a VM.  The only thing I am pulling is the printer information, nothing else.

I've seen this happen with PDF printers and some label writers, such as Zebra.  We used a template that didn't include printers as a result.
