  • 1.  Implementation/Deployment Guide for SMG with MS Exchange

    Hi there,

    Is there an implementation/deployment guide for Messaging Gateway integration with Microsoft Exchange? I can't seem to find it anywhere. The Messaging Gateway is virtual appliance anyway.

    Hi Alexander.. 

    The question is can SMG VA integrate with MS Exchange 2016 in a Hyper-V environment?

     

    If yes is there any official document that states so?

    We have been using SMG for 10+ years, and we are an Exchange shop.

     

    There is not so much in terms of integration.with Exchange there.

    You mean VA as in virtual appliance?? Remember, smg is just another mta using port 25! So in all cases, exchange and smg are separate vm’s. They can be on the same network segment. But again, the main purpose of smg is to be in the DmZ (Internet facing zone). Exchange goes into your internal network.
