Mac OS 10.10.4 with PGP WDE ?

I know there is no official announcement from Symantec on PGP support for Mac OS 10.10.4, but have any one given a try?

Does it work ?

It's dissapointing that OS X 10.10.4 has been out just shy of two weeks and we have not seen anything from Symantec. Hopefully we will see a response here and TECH174563 will be updated.

Yes it works with 10.10.4. I had a issue with our corp build (I updated our image from 10.10.2 to 10.10.4) where I was getting a PGP Error 11997, and it would fail off the bat.

I uninstalled PGP (deleted the app via the trash and ran Disk Cleaner also), then I made 2 reboots, which is advised in another thread here https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/symantec-encryption-desktop-mac-os-mavericks-catch-22, re-installed PGP, rebooted, then ran it. 

It then encrypts fine and works after it's finished encrypting the whole disk.

i cant confirm,

i did a fresh 10.10.4 installation on MBP late 2009 with an Samsung EVO 840-series 500gb SSD and updated 10.10.4 with latest 2-3 updates (RDP , iTunes etc.) and then installed just 10.3.2_MP9 on it. after installation i tried without rebooting to encrypt the HDD which failed with a common 11xxx or 12xxx error (cant remember). i did reboot and then wasnt able to proper boot into MacOS , just a white blank screen.

pressing ALT before the mac-chime went into preboot area of MacOS with only 2 same-named partitions. unfortunately i hadnt a recovery partition for 10.10.4 so i wasnt able to ALT/CMD + R and so i resulted into a complete clean reinstall of 10.10.4 .

while Releasenotes doesnt state 10.10.4 to be official supported, i just wait until MP10/august 2015 or MP11 (september/october) will be released

Symantec has come up with new release MP10 and this works fine with MAC OS X 10.10.4

Hi,

The New release MP10 is not working on MAC OS X 10.10.4​. After installation of MP10 machine getting crash that may compability issue with mac os x 10.10.4. we are working with syamntec support for same.

if any one has install MP10 on mac os x 10.10.4 please confirm its working or not.

Some of our Client tried to Install SED 10.3.2 MP10 (Build 21165) and it didn't work!
