How to disable SEP from Client console

Hi,

I have 200+ users and i need to disable SEP client from client console. I already set the DISABLE SYMANTEC ENDPOINT PROTECTION grey-out. 

But when i open the SEP client console to disable temporarily the symantec features, the disable option is also grey-out. We need to disable the SEP from the console with password protection, not from the threshold icon disabling option so users who only have the SEP client passsword can disable the SEP client from the console.

On the Clients page, pick the group that the client is in. Right-click it and under 'Run Command on Computers' you will have the option to disable Auto-Protect, Network Theat Protection, or Download Insight.

Thanks for the info but this command will be done in SEPM console. We need to disable the AV via client console so whenever we need to troubleshoot the pc, we can easily disable the AV through its Client console. But when the DISABLE SYMANTEC ENDPOINT PROTECTION option is greyed-out, its equivalent component in the SEP client console is also greyed-out.

Is there a possible way where we can disable the av through client console and making  DISABLE SYMANTEC ENDPOINT PROTECTION option still greyed-out?

you are best of using the "Smc -stop" command from "Run Command" option. this will stop the SEP client from running completely. once you are done with the troubleshooting again put the same command with slight difference "SMC start" in run command. This will let you to quickly enable/disable SEP.

I cant seem to find the RUN COMMAND option in SEP client console.

I mean the Run window of windows start menu. simply press the Win Key + R key and then put in smc -stop or smc start depending on weather you want to stop the SEP client or start it
