  • 1.  Active Scan scans an IP address?

    Posted Apr 07, 2009 06:26 AM

I'm trialling End Point Protection and I have noticed that when I run an Active Scan on any of my 3 clients, towards the end of the scan it appears to scan an IP address.

Does anyone know why it is doing this and what it is looking for? The address resolves to a static.theplanet.com name.
I haven't found anything in the documentation about this. The IP address doesn't exist in the registry or in the host file of the client.
    Thanks.

    Do 1 thing,

Try to remove these machines from Network, and then scan them. Check whether still it shows that IP Address.

Also which version are you using of SEP??
