 How to manually move/copy "Virus Definition Updates" to a Content Analysis Virtual Appliance located in a dis-connected network?

The Content Analysis Virtual appliance needs to receive "Virus Definition Updates" by connecting to http server that pretends to be liveupdate.symantec.com. Can we instead drop/copy the latest *.7z files to the destination folder on the Content Analysis Virtual appliance?  Our security policy does not allow for http server on port 80 within DMZ.

Hello Vijay, 

Here is what you are looking for Symantec Antivirus Updates in a Closed Network  , however i am not sure if this will take care of all of the different vendors(Mcafee, Sophos, Kaspersky) Antivirus Signatures or just the Symantec AV .
