Resolution:
The DBX60000 message and truncation to 26 bytes occurs when the special processing flag is set to M in the installation menu Name Gen Parms panel.
Remove the M from the Special Processing Flags field leaving only spaces. Press the Enter Key and then exit the Name Gen Parms panel and installation menu. Return to the repository and re-issue the OPTIONS.NAME command which will no longer return the DBX60000 message along with the truncation to 26 bytes.
Note. The current maximum is 32 bytes and will become the new maximum length once the M parameter is removed.
