Getting "Forbidden: You don't have permission to access.." during file upload on support.ca.com

Error description:

On the support.ca.com portal, files can be uploaded to support cases using the File Attachment tab.

After selecting the file and clicking "Upload File", a customer may see the following error message: " 403 Forbidden, You don't have permission to access <filenametoupload> on this server"

Cause of error:

This error occurs usually when user did not click on the  “Files_from_customer” folder before hitting the “Upload File” button.

You will notice the client showing the path to the destination folder as “Upload to:/”.

Resolution:

If the customer specifies “Files_from_customer” before hitting the“Upload File" button, The path will then read “ Upload to:/files_from_customer”. No error will occur.
