The latest CA IDMS DocOps changes include the following information:

• Web Services Employee Demonstration: This topic is updated to describe the new COBOL version of the demo Consumer service program, IDMSWSCI.
• PASS System Task: A new topic that explains a new system task command that is an alternative to using SIGNON system task, and facilitates the use of passphrases.
• SIGNON System Task: This topic is updated to describe a passphrase and the passphrase character limits and requirements for external security signon.
• Invoking the SIGNON Task from Programs: This topic is updated to list the RHDCSNON parameter requirements of a passphrase for external security signon.
• Administrating Security for IDMS: This section is updated to include information about using a passphrase for external security signon.
• AREA Statements: A new Usage statement is added—"Copying an Extended Area into a New Segment." This statement explains how to properly copy an extended area definition to a new segment.
