Save CPU by avoiding to reorganize your IMS Databases when not necessary!
How it works in a nutshell:
A new set of panels in IMS Tools r19 allow to define thresholds (such as Available Free Space, “%CI splits” or “%CA splits”, ...). CA Database Analyzer for IMS (r19) captures statistics from IMS databases, and stores them in the IIR backend repository. When running CA Database Organizer for IMS (r19), it does the necessary computations based on the statistics, and evaluate the results against the thresholds, to determine whether or not to run the REORG.
