Alias has already been used

Error: “Alias has already been used.”

 

What is cause of error?

During registration on CA.com, if the alias (screen name) is already being used by another user it will display the error "Alias has already been used." This field is used in the Communities as your screen name for interacting with others.

Resolution:

Enrollee has 2 options:

  • Option #1 -  Change the alias to the suggested alias system provides
  • Option #2 - Make up an alias*

*Note: As a best practice when making up an Alias you should try to use something similar to your name as it may slow down registration approval process.

Once updated system will require enrollee to re-enter and confirm the Password then click “Register Now” to complete:
