We have had two excellent questions recently:
1. What is Panaudit-Plus EXTP?
Panaudit EXTP is the "audit only" version of CA Easytrieve, the version to be used by auditors.
2. Is there a difference between PANAUDIT-PLUS and PANAUDIT-PLUS EXTP? Do you need to be licensed for both products?
Basically, this all depends on whether you are doing internal or external auditing.
If internal auditing and you already have EZTPLS 6.4 0311 or EZT r11.6, then you do not need the CA Panaudit EXTP version.
If internal auditing and you do not have the EZTPLS 6.4 0311 or EZT r11.6, then you will also need both the Panaudit Plus and the Panaudit Plus EXTP version.
If you are doing external audits, then most likely you will have bought both the Panaudit and the Panaudit EXTP product as you may not be able to
ensure what products your clients have. The Panaudit EXTP version is lower priced and contractually designed. The product should be uninstalled before leaving the client site.
If you are not doing any auditing, then you will be fine with the CA Easytrieve product installed with the CA Panaudit Plus product.
