we have z/os at level 2.2 and preparing it for 2.4/2.5 upgrade (plus get ready for upgrade to CICS 6.1). As a prereq we have to perform maintenance of ACF2 16. Holddata is extensive and will require IPL with CLPA. Can you give me some tips about maintenance activation specifically for ACF2? I already applied ptfs on 'maint ds' so it's time to put them to 'runtime ds'.
First issue that I encountered is how to perform work if ACF2 is closed (I assume I will need to close ACF2 to allow to rename libs etc)
When I closed ACF2 for test I got these kind of wtors for almost any action I do on the system (going to jcl library,submitting job etc)
*07 ACF90CCC xxx ,ACF2 NOT ACTIVE: REPLY 'U' TO CONTINUE, 'C' TO
CANCEL, OR 'W' TO WAIT AND RE-START ACF2
I am aware of LNK/LLA etc, so I am just curious if there are any special consideration just for ACF2.
