From Zowe v2.11.x USer Guide, Zowe CLI is not supported on z/OS and is currently experimental. This is due to a limitation in IBM Db2 plug-in. Background : We are exploring ways of ensuring that Automation scripts we are currently developing are platform agnostic. Currently we have ZOWE CLI installed under Windows - but really just for initial devt, but with the intention of deploying eventually on virtualised LINUX servers. We assumed that ZOWE CLI could not be deployed on USS , i.e. to allow z/OS to z/OS integration.

Question : Is it possible to deploy ZOWE CLI under USS and to issue ZOWE CLI commands from python running under z/OS - and to have those commands expose z/OS components on the same z/OS SYSPLEX?
