We have already migrated to SDSF security with ACF2.
Question on job cancel / purge. As per Broadcom KB https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/32012/cancelling-jobs-in-sdsf-using-acf2-but-t.html notes allows the ability to cancel their own jobs.
Note: that granting JES2 OPERCMD access, but no JESSPOOL access still allows the user to cancel or purge jobs that they own. This is a special administrative consideration in order to prevent having to write rules for users to access their own jobs.
However, there are instances where the OWNER is different, but, submitted by a user [where job name is their own ID+1 char]. Users want to cancel such jobs. There was an idea to introduce &LID as a rule parameter. Is this idea still in consideration ?

Are you planning to migrate to z/OS 2.5?
Do you know with z/OS 2.5, System Display and Search Facility's (SDSF) internal security can't be used?
Check out my blog that explains how to enable SDSF external security with ACF2.
