The Vantage team recommends customers using the Vantage Windows client upgrade to patch level 5.
You can check the current patch level of the Windows client by clicking on Help, then "About CA SRM and CA Vantage", the release number is displayed and the patch level is the last number of the version, we recommend version 12.7.871.5.
This patch can be applied on a PC running r12.7 build 871 and with any patch applied.

In October of this year we announced that we have stabilized the Vantage Windows client. Functionally stabilizing a product means there will be no new Versions or Releases or further enhancements to this product. However, maintenance and support for this product will continue in accordance with your active maintenance contract for Vantage Storage Resource Manager.
Customers should migrate to the Vantage web based interface, "Mainframe Team Center – Management".
