    To our valued NetMaster Community:

The new SYSLOGDW command enables users to send messages directly from NetMaster to the logstream of a local or remote UNIX SYSLOG daemon. Once the message is in SYSLOGD, you can use native SYSLOGD tools to work with the NetMaster data. For example, you could use SYSLOGDW-supplied data to create a historical report on insecure connections found by the TCP Security Protocol Enhanced (TCPSECE) event detector. When you define the event detector, you specify SYSLOGDW as a RUN_COMMAND for the alert action. When TCPSECE detects an insecure connection, the alert initiates the SYSLOGDW action, which sends an RFC 5424 (Syslog protocol compliant) message to SYSLOGD.

To take advantage of SYSLOGDW, apply PTF LU11011.

For additional information, refer to the New Features article in the product documentation for:

For details on SYSLOGDW parameters, refer to the 3270 help.

    Thank you!
