As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success under the Continuous Delivery model, we are pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of the following feature PTF:
This PTF enhances the SYSVIEW Java Virtual Machine and Language Environment component. It provides the following new monitoring insights and management capabilities for JVMs that are running on z/OS.
Updates included with this PTF are -
View Detailed JVM CPU Usage Information
SYSVIEW users can now view detailed JVM CPU usage information. The users can leverage the information to determine the JVM overhead and identify threads in JVMs that are exceeding expected CPU usage.
Trigger and Configure JVM Dumps
SYSVIEW users can now trigger various dump types in a JVM. JVM dumps help debug runtime errors in a JVM. In addition, users can now view the configuration of dump agents in a JVM.

This change is not applicable to SYSVIEW Essentials users.
