As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success under the Continuous Delivery model, we are pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of the following feature PTF:
This PTF enhances the SYSVIEW Option for IMS. It introduces a new IMS command, commands that were enhanced to support Cross-System modes, miscellaneous updates to existing IMS commands, and new Time Series Data (TSD) data collection metrics.
The following enhancements are included in this PTF.
New IMSFDBR Command
SYSVIEW IMS users with this IMS Feature would be able to view information about active IMS Fast DataBase Recovery (FDBR) subsystems. The command can be used to display data from multiple subsystems. The command supports SYSTEM and XSYSTEM data modes using the common set of parameter keywords.
Enhanced IMS Commands
- The IMSCLASS and IMSDESS commands updates will allow users to use these in both SYSTEM and XSYSTEM data modes using the common set of parameters keywords. For more information about this, see IMS Cross-System Enabled Command Standardization.
- Users can exploit the new line command for IMSREGNS and IMSTLOG commands to obtain information about DB2 subsystems.
- Users can leverage new log stream filters for IMSTLOG and IMSRSLOG commands.
- Users can perform group processing for IMSTLOG, IMSRSLOG and IMSTSUM commands.
New Time Series Data (TSD) Metrics
The Option for IMS contains new TSD data collection metrics that can be sent to Mainframe Operational Intelligence (MOI) for analytics processing.
This change is not applicable to SYSVIEW Essentials users.
