    Subject:  SYSVIEW 17.0 Continuous Delivery Feature PTF General Availability Announcement

As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success under the Continuous Delivery model, we are pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of the following feature PTF:

    LU09999 - IMS Commands Enabled for XSYSTEM/SYSTEM Mode

    This feature PTF enhances SYSVIEW for IMS component. SYSVIEW IMS users with this IMS Feature can enable additional commands for XSYSTEM and SYSTEM data mode. SYSVIEW users will have consistent experience while using all XSYSTEM enabled IMS command; as those were standardized to use a common set of parameter keywords, similar to CICS and MQ command processing.

    This feature PTF contains the following enhancements and changes:
      • IMSREGNS command updates - The users can now view the dependent region job type on a a new field 'JobT'.In addition, the users can take advantage of all IMSREGNS line commands for remote systems. 
      • IMSDAILY and IMSEVENT commands updates - This will allow security resource validation calls for the IMSID and IMSJOBN resources. The calls will ensure that only authorized users can view data for the selected IMS subsystems.
    • New Profile Variables IMSMODE and IMSGROUP - The users can set a default MODE and GROUP for all IMS cross-system enabled commands. For more detailed information about the profile variables, see IMS Cross-System Enabled Command Standardization.
    • New XSPlex Field - The users can view the name of the sysplex where the data was obtained in the XSPlex field on all IMS cross-system enabled commands .
