    Subject:  General Availability Announcement for REST API 12.1.06 for CA 7 Workload Automation 12.1

    On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services.  As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products.  Today, we are pleased to announce that CA 7 REST API 12.1.06 is now available. 

    CA 7 REST API is a capability of CA 7 12.1, providing users with a modern interface to interact with CA 7.  This capability helps application developers and automation engineers to automate and integrate existing applications with CA 7 to develop custom solutions.

    New Features

    The new features in 12.1.06 are:
    • Upgraded Tomcat (9.0.86) for its updates and security fixes 
    • Upgraded third-party product dependencies to address security vulnerabilities
    • Support for CA 7 internal security
    • UID Filtering
    • A new ARFP API
    Features Removed
    The following features have been removed:
    • Rest API Administration (previously deprecated), replaced by the REST API CA 7 Instances API.
    • Rest API Configuration (previously deprecated), replaced by the REST API CA 7 Instances API.
