    HI

Do any one of you or your organization considering modernizing IDMS applications into another/newer technology due to lack of human resources available in the IDMS area.

If yes, can you please share your future considerations to modernize IDMS applications.

    Mohamed:

Yes our Department is looking to move from IDMS applications to something more modern.  Our problem is finding qualified staff to support the Legacy Mainframe applications.

Thx - Randy Moulton (PSPC/SSC) Government of Canada.

Hi Mohamed, there is a customer in Brazil called Caixa using SQL Option to access the database by JDBC, using SQL commands or Table Procedure calls. On front-end are using Java and Javascript. The future is to coexist the legacy and modern technologies.

    Hello Mohamed,

We are a DBMS team supporting both CA IDMS v19.0 and z/OS Db2 v12 - Logical DBA & Systems Programmer. If you need any further assistance let us know and help you to manage your system end-to-end.

This is my opinion and I can see a lot of features in the CA IDMS Database.

    Regards,

    Sushil Joseph D.
