Group capacity monitoring

Hello, 

May I ask , do we have a metric in sysview for Group capacity threshold?

For example limit is 2000 MIPSes and that is a triger for our alarm for all jobs, stc's and so on to do some actions....

Hello Jan,

SYSVIEW has job level MIPS metrics, but no system/group level MIPS metrics. Rather, SYSVIEW has system/group level MSU monitoring. Specifically, these metrics:

MVS_SYS_4HourGroupAvgMsu (MSU4GAVG)
MVS_SYS_4HourGroupAvgMsu% (MSU4GPCT)

The above metrics will monitor your defined capacity group and alert you based on the defined usage. Note this is based on a 4 hour rolling average, so you will need to plan this into setting your rules to be notified.
