Datacom CADRE Community members,
As part of Datacom's overall strategy of providing new releases and maintenance to our products, we are pleased to announce the general availability of the Datacom Core Products 15.1 Service Update S2401 that includes the following components:
- Datacom/DB
- Datacom Datadictionary
- Datacom SQL
- Datacom Dataquery
- Datacom Fast Restore
- Datacom Presspack (if licensed)
The Service Update contains all published maintenance through December 31, 2023 as contained on the CARS 2401 level. In addition, for this particular Service Update, solutions beyond CARS 2401 up to the maintenance level represented by Datacom Core Products 15.1 Level Set 03 (15.1.03) are also included.
The Service Update PAX can be used to do a new install of a Datacom instance in your environment. If you should have any (unsupported) environments still needing to be upgraded, this Service Update can also be used to upgrade to 15.1.
You could also use the Service Update PAX to upgrade the maintenance level of a given 15.1 environment to the CARS 2401 code level plus the fixes to equal Level Set 03. Be sure to review and apply all appropriate HOLDDATA for solutions between your current maintenance level and the 15.1.03 level.
