Our team is excited to announce the general availability of Bridge for Git version 2.15.0! This version includes a number of interesting and valuable features including:

    • Support for forward proxies with authentication
Administrators can configure Bridge for Git to communicate via forward proxies with authentication to the respective git servers. Bridge for Git can manage the configuration of multiple git servers with proxies if they are needed for a migration scenario.

    • Management of Personal Access Tokens (PATs) on connected Git accounts page
Users can easily manage their PATs for the primary git server connected to Bridge for Git in the UI (previously only managed from the Bridge for Git plug-in for Zowe CLI)

    • Keystore with password for Endevor Connections
Administrators can store their Endevor Web Services certificate in a keystore and properly configure the corresponding Endevor Connection in Bridge for Git by supplying the keystore path and password for the certificate.

    • Generate after update at server level
Administrators can enable generate after update options for the entire Bridge for Git server. Mapping administrators can either accept the server-level setting for individual mappings, or override and configure a different setting for a given mapping.

    • Ability to delete users
Administrators can now delete users on the User Management page of the UI. Only users that do not own any mappings nor are application.yml-define administrators can be deleted.

    • Single application.yml file for configuration
Administrators now have all the required and optional parameters with comments in a single file for configuring Bridge for Git, easing the initial installation.

    • Ability to toggle read-only branches to read-write
Mapping administrators can make previously un-editable branches read-write with a new toggle.

If you have any questions or suggestions for enhancements, do let us know. In the meantime, happy upgrading and use of Bridge for Git 2.15.0!
