  • 1.  Add WHERE functionality to the DSALLOC command

    Hi,
    Various commands that display a list of libraries have a WHERE subcommand that will search the displayed libraries for a specific member, 
    The DSALLOC command displays all datasets allocated to an address space but does not have the WHERE function.

    A way around this is to issue the DL (DDLIST) command near any library. The DDLIST command does have WHERE functionality and other commands that display various things about members in libraries. 

    I would like to have WHERE functionality in the DSALLOC command.

    Feature PTF enhancement LU09414​ - SYSVIEW 17.0 was delivered on 20th April Thursday. This an interim update​, and we believe it might address part of your request. We have additional enhancement to the DSALLOC in the delivery pipeline - target GA in Fall of 2023​​. Stay tuned - we will have more information in the near future.

    Hello Gadi, this is to inform you that though we published a workaround (via interim update) we have the final solution. This solution should address the original request. We plan to publish the Feature sometime in Fall 2023. We will keep you posted.
