Broadcom's virtual Mainframe Technical Exchange(MTE) is THIS WEEK! Here's some helpful info to help you maximize your experience.

1. If you haven't registered for the event yet, do so here: REGISTER
   
   
2. The event portal is now available. Once you have registered for the event, use your email to log in here: MTE EVENT PORTAL
   
   
3. In the MTE Event Portal, explore the agenda and register for the sessions you want to attend. 
   • Gen sessions are in the "DevOps" track, and they are all scheduled for Thursday, October 5. 
   • All the sessions you register for will be listed in "My Agenda" at the top menu of the event portal.
     
     
4. We have found that most people prefer Q&A via chat rather than unmuting and talking verbally. So this year we're experimenting with all questions during a session being through the chat feature. Watch the session, type your questions in the chat, and get real-time replies from the presenters.  
   • Technically most sessions are pre-recorded, but speakers join the session to reply to your questions in real-time. Since presenters don't have to worry about speaking and typing questions simultaneously, you will actually be able to interact more. 
     
     
5. Session recordings will be available in the MTE Event Portal after the scheduled presentation time, until February 2024.

Our first MTE session for Gen starts in 5 minutes! I'm so excited! Come listen to Rob and Amit discuss the new CSE on Linux. 

By the way, this year's format had an unexpected change. Q&A chat will be available during the presentation, but the session closes shortly after the presentation recording ends. SHUCKS! We had wanted to stay on to answer questions... Get your questions in the chat early. We will reply or we are happy to scheduled time to talk later.
